Fame! Glory! A Free Set Of Emerilware!

I received something fascinating in my email bucket earlier this afternoon. While it is definitely not something I would be interested in (or for that matter, even watch), I figured I would pass along this nugget of information for those more impressed with the notion of having their own Food Network show than I am. I guess I should be flattered enough that the FN thought that little 'ol me would have a big enough influence on potential local candidates to include me in on the fun. There were two attachments to this email that I didn't include in this posting. If you are interested, email me and I'll send you the entire message, attachments and all.

Dear Tom,

I am a casting assistant for The Next Food Network Star, Food Network’s hugely successful culinary reality series. We are looking for people who are full of life, passionate about cooking, and knowledgeable about food to meet us in person at our open casting call. Please help us spread the word to any chef, home cook, caterer or culinary enthusiast who might be interested in becoming the host of his or her own cooking show on Food Network!

The details of our event are as follows:

I’ve attached a flyer to this email with more details about our casting event. If you have any questions or require further information, please feel free to contact me. Thank you for your time and assistance.

Sincerely,

Julie Boskoff
